Title:  5000 Danish Seamen

Comments: Nazi Germany invaded Denmark in April 1940 As the Danes did not resist they said they had not been defeated. Meanwhile Danes outside the country flocked to the Allies, 5,000 Danish seamen bringing in 90% of Denmark's tonnage into friendly ports. This poster commemorates the solidarity of those 5000 Danish seamen with the united nations against the Axis powers by showing two solid Danish seamen against the background of the Danish flag.
