1874 Winslow Homer Wood Engraving "Flirting on the Sea-Shore and on the Meadow"
Winslow Homer here pictures a double genre scene with a bucolic field scene on the bottom with three children, two ducks and a flock of baby ducks and above two adults are on the beach at twilight with houses and a windmill in the background. The common theme is flirting and the technique is typical of Homer's later and best wood engravings. Below is a picture of the engraving matted as it will come to you in a standard frame size of 16 x 20 inches and enclosed in a protective plastic sleeve.
